Up for sale is a 2000 Starting Lineup (SLU) Classic Doubles action figure and trading card set of DETROIT RED WINGS Sergei Fedorov & COLORADO AVALANCHE Peter Forsberg . . . it is titled "All-Star Centers".
The figure and card set is an official National Hockey League (NHL) and National Hockey League Players Association (NHLPA) licensed Sports Superstar Collectible. Included on the hanging display card are two 5-inch action figures with the team's colors/logo and two collectible hockey trading cards. These hockey cards are becoming of interest to hockey card collectors in their own right.
The hockey figure and card set is in mint condition inside its excellent original packaging (see photos) . . . it has never been opened, there is no fading, no corner nubs on the hanging card, no creases or bends, no bubble damage. I purchased the figure set new and have stored it since purchased. It has never been displayed.
Starting Lineup was a brand of action figures produced from 1988 to 2001, first by Kenner and later by Hasbro. The figures became very popular, and eventually included sports stars from baseball, football, basketball, hockey, auto racing, boxing, track & field, skating, soccer, and golf.
