    Green River Fossil
    Fly or Beetle
    Green River Insect.
    I have a fossil insect measuring approx about
    15x12 mm
    and the plate measures about
    50x56 mm
    My best guess is that this is a bee or beetle.  This one is slightly disarticulated.   (A large majority of the insects found in the green river are flies (March flies).  Still it could be a bee and maybe a beetle)
