OVERVIEW
The RaceGrade High Output Ignition Coil is an inductive ‘smart coil’ capable of producing extremely high spark energy (103mJ +) making it ideal for many high horsepower applications. The coil-near-plug form factor allows it to be remotely mounted away from the cylinder head to promote lower operating temperatures of the coil, improving longevity and performance. The RaceGrade High Output Ignition Coil is ideally suited for a wide variety of applications, ranging from moderate powered endurance applications through 3000+ horsepower blown alcohol motors. It is the ideal combination of high spark energy and long spark duration.
Field proven for exceptional reliability and performance, the RaceGrade High Output Ignition Coil's built-in igniter allows for a simplified installation and is ideal for use with all MoTeC ECU’s (and most other brands). No external igniter or CDI is required for these coil to function.
When installing the RaceGrade High Output Ignition Coil, special attention must be paid to the quality of the connections due to the immense energy of this coil. The center pin (Terminal C) MUST be grounded to the cylinder head. The coil will not supply full power if it is not grounded to the cylinder head. Please refer to the Characteristic Dwell Time chart listed below. The coil will overheat if operated at excessive duty cycles for prolonged periods. Do not operate this coil at a duty cycle greater than 40%.

A: Coil Trigger (ECU Trigger)
B: Coil Trigger (ECU 0V)
C: GND to Cyl Head
D: Battery GND
E: Battery POS
Mating Connector: M12-2825 (included)
Note: The connector is a 'pull to seat' connector. The wires must be fed through the connector before termination.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
MoTeC’s professional, race-grade electronics are sophisticated and therefore it is highly recommended that installation is performed by a professional installer.  It is NOT advised for the average installer.  An advanced understanding of electrical systems is necessary.  Fischer Motorsports will support all sales and also offers professional grade wiring harnesses and installation services for all applications.  We have 10+ years of professional race experience based upon MoTeC control and specialize in Power train, Chassis, Drivetrain, and Data programming both at our facilities, onsite customer dyno/track support, or even remote support.  Please remember that if you cannot find the time or finances to do the job right the first time, you will ultimately end up looking for time or funds to do it over again.  Select us or find a qualified installer, it will ultimately increase your results and minimize future expenses or downtime related to improper setup or installation.

Returns
All sales are final. None of our items are returnable or refundable unless approved by Fischer Motorsports.
A Return Authorization may be issued in certain cases where Fischer Motorsports authorizes a return, refund or exchange. All returns and cancellations will be charged a 20% re-stocking fee. You must contact us via email and request for your case to be reviewed.
RA numbers expire 15 days after they are issued. Items returned without an RA number or using an expired RA number will be refused.
